The ACLU is Very Conservative

Our aim is to conserve the values written into the Constitution by our forefathers who had experienced the terrorism of king George.    The people could not speak out for fear of being thrown in prison without a chance for a fair trial.   War after war had been fought over religious views.  Cruel punishment was routinely inflicted on citizens that spoke out.
